MEASURE "A"THREATENS
AGRICULTURE
Farmers, ranchers are
stewards of our agricultural
lands. Our County’s major
agricultural organizations –
including Farm Bureau,
Cattlemen, Vintners and
Growers – all oppose Measure
“A”.
Measure “A” could restrict
farmers’ ability to manage
their operations. Packaging
facilities, greenhouses,
tasting rooms could all be
restricted. Even creating a
lot for your adult child to
build a home on your land
could require a countywide
vote.
