Reasons to vote no on A
You might be a Measure A
supporter if you believe: LandWatch cares about the economic future
of Monterey
County.
East Salinas needs more residential density.
Elected officials are fair game for personal attack regardless of
their records of service and integrity.
Sprawl is waiting at the county line, skipping San Martin, Morgan
Hill, Gilroy and Aromas, ready to pave over the Salinas Valley.
Money given to LandWatch is pure; donations to Plan for the People
are corrupt.
Measure A is so benevolent that it doesn't need an environmental
impact report.
Peninsula voters are more knowledgeable about preserving farmland
than the farmers.
Hospitality workers should commute from Los Banos.
The League of Women Voters' review of the general plans is impartial
even though league leaders are LandWatch members.
If your intentions are good, your proposals need not be debated.
No on Measure A!
