General plan homework

I don't understand how some attendees at Monday's City of Monterey forum on the general plan election believe facts aren't being presented fairly by supporters of No on A. I've read their analysis of the LandWatch initiative. I have also read the Refinement Group's counter-analysis to the League of Women Voters (found at www.planforthepeople.org).

Plan for the People provides hyperlinks in its analysis so you can easily shift between the two comparisons. All you have to do is link back and forth and you can see the actual text they are citing, and it is filled with unintended consequences.

If you don't have access to the Internet, you can visit a library or Internet café and do so quite easily. Plan for the People could not be doing more to keep me properly informed. You may not like what you read when you see the bias in the league analysis or all the legal defects in LandWatch's initiative, but it's clearly there for all by simply clicking on a link.

Do your homework. I did, and I'm voting No on A, No on B, Yes on C.
