No on Measure A
LandWatch founder and president Michael DeLapa asks who I trust in
the general plan debate. The answer is easy: Me.
I've read Measure A. I've read the Nossaman law firm legal analysis.
I've read the Bay Area Economics study. I've read the county's new
general plan and I've read the Environmental Impact Report on it.
I've read the Refinement Group critique of the League of Women
Voters comparison of Measure A to the new county general plan, and
the League's weak explanation why the fact it endorsed Measure A
doesn't matter.
Voters easily can see what a disaster Measure A is by looking at the
Refinement Group critique (online visit:

- with easy-to-use links to factual source materials).
I've read Bradley rancher and planning commissioner Jay Brown's
questions regarding serious mapping, land-use designation and other
flaws in Measure A. I trust him. Measure A is a serious threat to
our county's economy, our two main industries, to traffic and
housing issues we all care about, and to the community planning
efforts in Castroville, Pajaro and Chualar.
I trust me, Mr. DeLapa. I'm voting "no" on Measure A!
