Setting record straight

In a letter to the editor May 19, Ms. Oliveira claimed the League of Women Voters of the Salinas Valley supported Measure E based on a biased review of the measure. In fact, neither the League of Women Voters of the Salinas Valley nor Monterey Peninsula took a position on Measure E. Ms. Oliveira unfortunately did not have the correct facts, and we felt the record should be set straight.
